Was he wearing a helmet? Looks like a terrible Anterior Subluxation of C7-T1 Spinal segment. Will require surgery.

Isn't that pretty low for quadriplegia? Shouldn't he have use of arms?
C7,c8 and T1 form the lower component of the brachial plexus. Im guessing if any movt at all, only proximal movt.
Someone please correct me.
He may have partial movement of his upper extremities such as the biceps brachii and deltoid muscles.. triceps, forearm and hand no.
These type of images always make me gasp
I rode a motorcycle to premed and medical school, and was lucky to have only minor trauma in the couple of falls I had, thanks goodness. I have never rode a bike since then, and when I see cases like this one, think definitely never will.
