A 16-year-old female presents with headache, visual disturbance and vertigo. What would you do with this lesion (arrow)? What’s the next test you should call for? We’ll give you our suggestion tomorrow.
Craniotomy for excision. The next recommended test is visual acuity
Internal Medicine And Subspecialties Resident
Seems acoustic schwanoma seen in NF2. Next best test is to see involvement of cochlear nerve by PTA or ABER. Treatment is either observe or surgery/radiation. Or meningioma.
Sphenoid wing meningioma, perimetry the next step. Maybe foster kennedy syndrome too on Ophthalmoscopy
Otolaryngology Head And Neck Surgery
If possible could you post sagitals as well? Is it on the vidian, sphenopalantine, optic?
Cholesterol granuloma of the sphenoid wing. Is patient a deep sea diver?
I'd go for a meningioma.
Infectious Diseases Resident
It can be a tumour as its small and it might grow, that is my suggestion, surgery.
Radiology And Nuclear Medicine
The suggested next test is nothing. It's asymmetric pterygoid marrow, a normal variant. Next test not needed. But if you wanted to prove it to someone else, you could call for a CT bone window algorithm.
Optic neurma gammanife please
